INTRODUCTION :
As per our ancient Puranas, it is believed that the abode of Lord Ganesa is situated in the Ganesa Loka, which is located near to Kailasa. In the Vinayaka Purana it is mentioned, that due to the sincere devotion of the great sage Purusundi, after his death, he has attained the Ganesa Loka. The Ganesa loka is situated amidst mountains, and Lord Vinayaka dwells there along with his consorts, Ma Siddhi and Ma Buddhi.
In this loka, there will be no physical comforts and luxuries similar to the heaven, but there would be the continuous chanting of the Ganesa Mantra, “OM SRI GANESAYA NAMAHA”. Those who would reside in this loka, would get permanent happiness, and there is no rebirths for them. The Divine sage Narada and Tumburu had visited this holy place, and praised the greatness of Lord Vinayaka. According to Vinayaka Purana, Lord Vinayaka contains the entire universe in his stomach. So far he has shown his Viswaroopa darshan only to very few of his devotees. Everyone would be interested to visit the Ganesa Loka to remain permanently with the elephant god, and to enjoy his beauty and sing songs on him.
Lord Ganesa is the first god, and he is mostly worshipped as a child deity. He would forgive our sins and gives various boons to us. We can perform puja and offer Mothakams to him during the Chaturthi festival day, and can get his grace.
In this present situation of life, everyone is suffering from lot of problems, and no one is getting permanent peace of mind, and most of the people are questioning about the existence of our Hindu gods, even without reading our Holy Puranas.
Lord Vinayaka is created from the powers of Ma Shakti and whoever worship Mata Shakti would be blessed by her son Vinayaka also. Similar to the great King Rukmangada, Vallala, Vallabi and Purusundi, we can also attain the divine abode of Lord Vinayaka, if we keep sincere faith and bhakti on him.
