BRAHMALOKA

INTRODUCTION :

Brahmaloka also called as Satya Loka is the abode of Lord Brahma and Ma Saraswati. Lord Brahma is the creator of all the living beings in the world, and he is the main father of everybody. Ma Saraswathi is considered as the goddess of education and wisdom, and she gives good knowledge, courage and good memory power to her devotees.

Apart from Brahma and Saraswathi, in the Brahma Loka, famous saints and sons of Lord Brahma like Pulastiya, Manu and Daksha Bhagavan are living. Only a few of us would get an opportunity to live in the Brahma Loka. For living in the Brahma loka, we must have to lead a saintly life, remove our ego, and must keep our attention only on the god. As per the wordings of Sri Seshadri Swamigal who lived in Tiruvannamalai during the last century, the great saint, Polur Sri Vithoba Swamigal went to the abode of Lord Brahma, the Brahma Loka, after his death. Polur Swamigal had lived a very pious life, and he never thought about himself, but healed the diseases of many people, and worshiped Lord Krishna throughout in his life. Due to his good nature, he has attained Brahma Loka.

But even in the Brahma Loka, there is no permanency. The great Sangu Karna who was the chief Devata in the Brahma Loka during the Krita Yuga, was cursed by Lord Brahma for a small mistake, and due to that, he took the avatars of Prahalada, Bahlika, Vyasaraja and Guru Raghavendra. After few hundred years only, Guru Raghavendra would be able to reach the Brahma Loka, and can transform into Sangu Karna.

Living in the divine lokas is also not an easy task. If we commit even a small mistake, we would be thrown out by our divine masters into the earth, and in this Bhuloka, we have to suffer a lot, like sufferings from hunger, thirst and diseases etc. Hence instead of worrying about unnecessary things in our life, let us concentrate our entire attention on the almighty and be blessed.
