బతుకమ్మ

ఆశ్వయుజ మాస పాడ్యమి రోజున బతుకమ్మను నిలుపుకొని ఆరొజూ సంధ్యాసమయంలో ఆటపాటలతో బతుకమ్మకు నీరాజనమర్పిస్తారు. ప్రకృతి సిద్ధమైన గునుగు పూలు, సొంపు పూలు, తోక చామంతి, గులమాల పూలు, తంగేడు పూలు, ఎర్ర గన్నేరు, పచ్చ గన్నేరు, బంతి పూలను ఎంతో కళాత్మకంగా ఉంటుంది. రంగు రంగుల పూలను నేర్పుగా ఆకర్షణీయంగా తిరచిదిద్దుతారు.

MAHISHASURA MARDINI

Mahisha performed severe penances for Lord Shiva, Lord Brahma pleased with his penance and came him to give a boon.Mahisha asked for immortality, which the Lord said he could not have give that boon because as every creature that was born had to die.

SARASWATI DEVI

Saraswati is the goddess of Knowledge, music, arts, wisdom and learning. She is a part of the trinity of Saraswati, Lakshmi and Parvathi. The Goddess Saraswati is often depicted as a beautiful women dressed in pure white, often seated on a white lotus, which symbolizes light, knowledge and truth.

ANNAPURNA DEVI 

Goddesses Annapurna is the incarnation of Parvati, in essence one of the nemerous forms of shakthi. There is an intresting incident involving Lord Shiva and Goddess Annapurna, which explains that even moksha is not possible on an empty stomach.

MAHA LAKSHMI DEVI

Durvasa the short-tempered sage once presented garland of flowers which would never wilt to the Indra, the kings of the Gods. Indra gave this garland to his elephant Airavata. Sage Durvasa Saw the elephant trampling the divine garland and cursed Indra, for he had shown disrespect to the sage. 

GAYATRI DEVI

Gayatri Devi is an incarnation of Saraswati Devi, consort of Lord Brahma, Symbolising the “Shakti” (strength) and “dev” (quality) of knowledge, purity and Virtue. She is an aspect of Saraswati Devi, Lakshmi Devi and Parvathi Devi all three in one form, a form of Adi Shakti.

పూజలో ఎలాంటి విగ్రహాలు పెట్టుకోకూడదు

అనేక రకాల లోహాలతో తయారుచేసిన విగ్రహాలు చూస్తూవుంటాము. వాటిలో వేటిని పూజలో పెట్టుకోవచ్చు, వేటిని పూజించకూడదు అని కొన్ని సందేహాలొస్తూ వుంటాయి. బంగారం, వెండి, ఇత్తడి, కంచు లోహాలతో తయారయిన విగ్రహాలను పూజలో పెట్టవచ్చు. అయితే ఈ విగ్రహాలు చిన్నవిగా వుండాలి. రాగితో తయారు చేసినది కేవలం గణపతి విగ్రహాన్ని మాత్రమే పూజించవచ్చు. స్ఫటిక విగ్రహాలు విశేష ఫలితాన్నిస్తాయికానీ అవి పగలకుండా చాలా జాగ్రత్త వహించాలి.

 హిందూ సంప్రదాయంలో గోవును పూజించడం ఓ ఆచారం. దీన్నే గోపూజ అంటారు. దీనికి మన పురాణాల్లో ఎంతో విశిష్ట ఉంది. గోక్షీరం (ఆవుపాలు)లో చతుస్సముద్రాలుంటాయని ఈ పురాణాలు చెపుతున్నాయి. సర్వాంగాలలో సమస్త భువనాలు దాగి ఉంటాయంటాయని వేద పండితులు చెపుతుంటారు.
